The Regional Centre of Voluntary Service operates a programme “Become a Mate” (“Zostań Mate’em”), in which volunteers help newcomer students accommodate in Kielce. They show them ways of spending free time and where to do the cheap shopping; they help them to solve minor everyday problems. In return, they are able to learn foreign languages and get to know different cultures.
